Both sides of the sea

Children’s clothes are a great way to create empathy for and a connection with animals at a young age. However, these animals are endangered and threatened with extinction. Next to this, the variety of animals appearing on children’s clothes is very limited. Can we use illustration and textile as a tool for education and creating understanding? By using both sides of the textile, we tell both sides of the story. The beauty of nature and the importance of preserving her and the reality of species threatened with extinction. One side the colourful characteristics of nature and marine life, the other side covered with pollution like plastics and as well as many more dangers.
